GIVE A GIFT AND BUILD THE VILLAGE
Membership dues are one component of the complete financial portfolio for the Village, covering only one-third of our operating expenses. Donations from individuals – members, volunteers, and friends – are critical. They ensure that we can provide the necessary services and programs for neighbors who wish to age in place and to remain independent, active, and connected members of the community. Donations in any amount are gratefully accepted!
Your donation to the Village supports:
- Engagement and management of the Village volunteer corps
- Educational and social program for Village members and the wider community
- Outreach so our Village can serve more people
- Financial assistance to lower the cost of membership for qualified individuals
- Back office expenses such as insurance, bookkeeping, supplies, and on-line services
Silver Spring Village is a nonprofit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Documents and information submitted under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are also available, for the cost of postage and copies, from the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401.
