The talk will be presented by Tony Sarmiento, President of Silver Spring Village. Tony is the former Executive Director of Senior Service America, Inc. In his career in workforce development and adult education, he has held senior positions at the national AFL-CIO and the D.C. Department of Labor. He also serves on the Community Council for WAMU-FM, the leading public radio station in greater Washington, DC; named fellow by the Gerontological Society of America; and elected to the National Academy of Social Insurance.
