SPARKLE: How to Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Cllutter is presented by professional organizer Silvia Balderas of Your Life Simplified Wednesday, March 14th @ 2pm

Artist and author ofThe Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning Margareta Magnusson defines Swedish Death Cleaning as removing "unnecessary things and making your home nice and orderly" before you "leave the planet." Regardless of whether you plan to downsize or age in place, we are all going to "leave the planet," so de-cluttering should be at the top of your to-do list. However, freeing yourself from a lifetime of clutter may be easier said than done. During this presentation you will learn organizing strategies -- including some of Margareta's -- that will help you de-clutter your home, so you can simplify your life, stay safe, and enjoy your retirement!

Silvia Balderas, owner of Your Life Simplified, is a Professional Organizer in Silver Spring, MD. She has been organizing homes and home offices since 2010. Silvia does not believe that an organized home should look like a magazine cover. Instead, she practices “real-life organizing” -- organizing your home to meet your needs, not those of others. Silvia is a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), NAPO-DC and Women Business Owners of Montgomery County (WBO).

This program is a collaboration between Silver Spring Village and Silver Spring Town Center, Inc.
