Join Village friends for a group walking tour of the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, open to the public for the first time since 1973. Several members have volunteered for a carpool that will leave the Village office at 1:00 pm to arrive in Kensington in time for the 1:30 tour. Because of the temple's extremely limited parking, all tour participants must travel to the temple using our carpool.

The visit will be a walking tour, but the temple is accessible for visitors with disabilities. Some of our carpool drivers with large vehicles may be able to accommodate passengers with smaller equipment such as a folding walker, but ask us about that before when you reserve your space.
