Join us for a workshop that helps individuals who are emotionally or functionally close to someone with dementia understand what it might feel like to be confused, frustrated or frightened by everyday tasks. The training is experiential and participants will be outfitted with equipment designed to reduce sensory perceptions. The desired outcome is for trainees to increase their empathy and patience when caring for a loved one whose behavior and personality is changing in challenging ways.
