Join us for our next SPARKLE: CREATE with Collage Wednesday, November 8th at 2pm in the Silver Spring Civic Building. Join Art Education Director of CREATE Arts, Lauren Healther Lay, for a hands-on workshop with collage. Laurenis an artist and teacher working with textile, and mixed media material. Lauren will share how to piece together various things to create something new. Bring in some photos, postcards, letters, magazine pages, fabric, small items---anything you would like to incorporate into your design. Other materials will be provided, but we encourage you to bring some meaningful items to highlight in your own creation. This event is sponsored by Silver Spring Town Center together with Silver Spring Village.
