Join Silver Spring Village and The Office of Vice President & Provost of Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring at the simulcast to celebrate 15 years of the Village Movement:  Atul Gawande MD, MPH Being Mortal's Village -- The Value of Community and Choice as We Grow Older.

Join us for a live simulcast with Dr. Atul Gawande, renowned surgeon and author, discussing the value of community and choice as we grow older. More than 150 villages across the country will be participating via simulcast for an evening with Being Mortal's author as we celebrate the village movement.

Monday September 25, 2017, 4:45pm - 6:00 pm. Doors open at 4:30pm. Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center, 7995 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Arrive early for preferred seating. Parking in W1 lot; overflow parking in West Garage student spaces only. FREE and open to the public.

Silver Spring Village, since 2013 has been providing volunteer services and programs for people who wish to remiain in their homes and communities as they age.
